THE SEASON

During the course of the year, a series of outdoor and indoor tournaments are organised around Ireland .

Typically, tournaments are either one day tournaments, primarily focused on Singles play with Doubles scheduled if time permits after the Singles . Currently, we organise one weekend tournament – the Annual Tig Roy Tournament held in Tipperary in May.

CLASSIFICATIONS

We aim to ensure that all players – whether competitive or social – are well-matched in tournaments to maximise their enjoyment. To help you with our definitions, here is what you may expect:

COMPETITIVE – A typical competitive player will be a regular club player, typically playing tennis to an intermediate/competitive level. If you play or have played in the Dublin league, then, you typically would be a class 3–7player.

SOCIAL – Our social players may either be occasional players who have not played that often since school/college days though typically take the racquet out during Wimbledon ! Social players may also be individuals who have recently taking up tennis and looking for a more relaxed less-competitive tournament.

BEGINNNERS – We are open to considering setting up a BEGINNERS division for those who would welcome elementary coaching followed by a beginners' tournament. If this appeals to you, e-mail us and we'll take it from there.
